From the President – 2019 Spring-May Newsletter
For the many of you who were fortunate to go south to seek warmer weather, let me be one of the first to welcome you back from spring break! We are looking forward to a great summer together.

In an attempt to increase much needed revenue, we have been undergoing an effort to strengthen our long-term financial footing without burdening current residents. This effort will culminate in a neighborhood-wide vote to amend our current bylaws and covenants.
Two very important announcements from the WNNA officers. Please Read.
Happy New Year! Let’s shake off these winter blues. As we say goodbye to 2018, we anticipate great things for 2019.
We will have an important vote, this September, to accept or reject revisions to the WNNA Articles of Incorporation, Covenants and By-laws.
We had a great turnout for our July 4th parade. I enjoy watching our young people’s creativity in decorating their bicycles and wagons. In the not so distant future they will be our new community and our country’s leaders.
I’m hoping everyone’s summer has been great and all had opportunities to enjoy the amenities in our neighborhood. A big THANK YOU to all my great volunteers who pitched in to assist me and the board; stepping up for general repairs, weed trimming, toilet fixing etc….. Volunteers are truly the key to keeping our costs down and our neighborhood great!
I wanted to share some thoughts on the current finances of the WNNA. For the past few years, the WNNA board has, in my opinion, been excellent stewards of our finances, especially considering how low our dues are compared to similar neighborhoods in Noblesville. Given the age of the neighborhood, pools, and parks, this has been no small feat.
Spring is finally here! We are putting final preparations together for a great summer of fun, here in Wellington NE. Your new patio furniture at the south pool is in; also, new playground equipment and new walkways at both pools.
The warm weather really encourages us all to get out and enjoy our great neighborhood. The common areas have had some sprucing up with the south playground getting new bouncy toys as well as new chain basketball nets for summer fun.
